Government Transportation Research Information Committee Meeting (GTRIC)
The GTRIC program provides a forum for presentations and discussions of practical issues of interest to state, provincial, and other government transportation librarians. This year’s program focuses on using TRIS Online; soliciting input for the TRB Research-in-Progress database, currently under development; practical applications of the Transportation thesaurus; and updates on the NTL, NCHRP project 20-36, etc.

Hagley Museum and Library Tour
A bus trip to the renowned Hagley Museum, including a 2-hour guided tour of the 240-acre site. Demonstrations include gun powder manufacturing, machine shop, blacksmith shop, restored cotton mill, Sunday school, and a tour of the original E.I. duPont home and gardens. Luncheon will be followed by a presentation by the Hagley staff, and a tour of the library, whose specialty is industrial history. Over 1,000 companies are represented in the archives of the library.
