2009 Sci-Tech Division Award Winners

The Sci-Tech Division Awards Committee is pleased to announce the 2009 Award Winners:

The 2009 Sci-Tech Achievement Award was awarded to Ann Koopman, JEFFLINE Editor & Manager at Scott Memorial Library of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia

The 2009 S. Kirk Cabeen Travel Stipend was awarded to

Susan Powell – Indiana Univeristy – Bloomington

The 2009 Bonnie Hilditch International Science-Technology and Engineering Divisions Librarian Award, co-sponsored by the SLA Engineering Division, was awarded to Dr. Praveen Kumar Jain, Librarian, Institute of Economic Growth, University of Delhi..

The 2009 Sci-Tech and Asian Chapter Student Travel Stipend was awarded to Xiang Yuanyuan (Cindy) Fudan University – Shanghai, China.

The remaining award will be presented at the Science-Technology Annual Business Meeting and Awards Breakfast at the SLA Annual Conference in Washington, D.C on Monday, June 15th, 2009, at 7:00 a.m.
