I LOVE NEW YORK

See why you won't want to miss the Social Science Division's great programs next June in NYC!

We're Online!

So, we finally made it! I won't say this is the PRETTIEST Bulletin on the block, but it's only the first try. The next issue should be better, once I take my class in the intricacies of Dreamweaver.

What it lacks in aesthetics, this issue more than makes up in interesting content. There are some business matters of importance. See especially the article by our Chair Ann Sweeney about the proposed new sections for our Division. Your views are needed, so don't hesitate to respond to Ann.

And read through the minutes of our annual meeting held at the conference in Los Angeles in June. And speaking of the conference, don't miss the great descriptions of our programs.

We hope you like this new format for the Bulletin. It's more convenient for you because:

  • It's available immediately upon completion
  • It's hyperlinked so there's no copying down urls you want to visit

In addition, it will save the Division a lot of money by eliminating printing and mailing costs. The funds can be redirected to programming or other worthwhile activities.

So let us know how you like it! Contact me, Heidi Yacker, with your thoughts and ideas.
