" More of a balance of experiment and research activities desired
" Remove catalog component since students already show good understanding

" Open Discussion

o Journals:
" Usage counters are under discussion at AMS
" Electronic-only subscriptions desired as options for all journals (no requirement for print)
" Desire for publishers to work with Portico or LOCKSS for post-cancellation access
" Backfiles should be on the same platform as current subscription

o E-books:
" DOIs desired both at title and chapter level (tables/figures would be good too) - will help with course reserves

" Students seem comfortable with e-books, mixed opinions amongst faculty
" Ease of use and multiple platforms are factors
" Some search e-books and request print
" Digital to digital rights for interlibrary loan desired

" Budget cuts were a major concern for many attendees
" Contact Travis Warwick to add titles to the PAM Master List of Cancelled Journal Titles
