Computer Science Roundtable: Topics Needed!


Topics are still needed to the Computer Science Roundtable at SLA’s Annual Conference. Email Nancy Kellett (nkellett@fsu.edu) with topic ideas. Topics thus far:

  • Using electronic books as textbooks.
  • Lecture Notes in Computer Science and other Springer books moving online and strategies for publicizing to users.
  • ACM search engine – how it works and strategies/feedback for improvement.
  • Errors in databases, including references and avenues for correcting, including the possibility of establishing a co-operative feedback loop with publishers /database producers.
  • Parker Ladwig on a "home" for computer science.
