The Astronomical Society of the Pacific Conference Series (ASPCS) is dedicated to finding affordable ways for libraries and individuals to purchase the valuable conference proceedings in various formats. This past year, ASPCS has expanded its purchasing options to meet the needs of all types of institutions and astronomers:
Institutions and Libraries
Annual Subscriptions:
- One invoice per year at lower pricing than individual volume purchases (see tier chart on price sheet at http://www..astrosociety.org/pubs/cs/subscription.html)
- Available in either print+electronic or electronic-only formats
- Renewable one-year commitment, reducing billing and shipping problems
- Tiered for program size--more affordable to smaller institutions
- New subscriptions also receive electronic access to all volumes from 2004 forward during subscription
- New volumes posted electronically one to two months before print is available
- For single sites; multi-site pricing may be negotiated with editorial office (contact aspcs@aspbooks.org)
- Subscribe online or through Customer Service (service@astrosociety.org)
Individual Printed Volumes:
- Affordable for institutions who need only select books and mainly desire printed books: $77.00 per volume + shipping
- Electronic access by username and password only
- Order on AstroShop or through Customer Service
- NEW: Individual Print+Electronic Volumes (with IP authentication):
- Affordable solution for institutions who require IP access to only a select group of ASPCS volumes: $120 per volume + shipping
- IP-authenticated electronic access for institutional access
- Order by contacting Customer Service
Individuals
- NEW: Electronic Access Only with Immediate Access:
- Immediate Electronic Access to entire volumes ($65.00) or individual articles ($9.00 each)--no shipping
- Article bundle pricing coming soon
- For individual use only
