E-Books on Steroids Panel

Results of the Quantitative Portion of the Survey

Sara Tompkins

Since this joint session with SciTech was SO well attended – standing room only – I thought PAM members might be interested in the quantitative analysis of the surveys turned in after the session.  If you are interested in the Qualitative results, let me know.  Also, Mitchell Brown will be writing up a report on the event, as will a member of SciTech.  Plus, see blog coverage of the panel at:
(http://christinaslibraryrant.blogspot.com/2007/06/sla2007-ebooks-on-steroids.html) http://www.infotodayblog.com/2007/06/06/e-books-on-steroids/

Sara Tompson, Panel Moderator.

·        Approximately 140-150 people were in attendance at this 7:00 am session!
·        75 surveys were turned in to the moderator, Sara Tompson; so about 50% responded immediately.
·        25 of the surveys (about 16% of the overall attendance) were from PAM members.
