Computer Science Roundtable

John Dupuis
jdupuis@yorku.ca

I'm moderating the computer science roundtable this year. Here is a tentative agenda:

  1. The incredible shrinking Computer Science Department: the effect of declining enrollments on collections and services
  2. Information Literacy Instruction for Computer Science students: is it needed? How to convince faculty and students of its value
  3. Open Access, Google and CS scholars' information seeking behavior
  4. Safari and other technology ebook packages
  5. Lecture Notes in CS: print or online only?

Based on some input I received, I've switched the last two from tentative to "for sure." Of course, any other suggestions are welcome. I plan on posting again to pamnet a few weeks before the conference.

The complete text of my initial post is on my blog here: http://jdupuis.blogspot.com/2005/03/computer-science-roundtable-at-sla.html.
