Message from the Chair

Cynthia Holt
holt@gwu.edu

The past four months have seen quite a bit of activity behind the scenes for our committees. Kris Fowler has been very busy drafting our Division Governing Document and revising our PAM Practices Manual (see the proposed changes in this issue). The Networking Committee is investigating the migration of PAMnet to another site and our session moderators have been busily working on the program for the Annual Conference. The International Relations Committee is getting ready to call for IMA Award nominations (see the call in this issue), our Publisher Liaisons have been attending meetings and soliciting input from members, and the Public Relations Committee has been gearing up to investigate PAM logo options. Sara Rutter has done a fine job at the helm of the PAM Bulletin, producing our first e-only issue in August. Laurel Kristick, our very able Chair-Elect, has been doing a great job at fundraising this year and is well on her way to meeting our goals to support the Division's activities.

Volunteering

I have been overwhelmed with responses to my call for PAM members to volunteer for activities in the Division. I am working on matching folks to the needs of the Division and hope to have everyone who desires it, a position that best meets their talents. I think this is yet another indication of the spirit of the PAM Division.

Preliminary Conference Planning

For those of you who like to plan their conference attendance early or who need extra time to convince their supervisor of the worth of attending, below is the preliminary schedule for the Division at the Annual Conference in Toronto. Please note that because of the increased number of no-conflict times in this year's schedule, some sessions will run concurrently.
