The Early Bird registration ends May1st, so hurry as we're sure you won't want to miss this opportunity!
Description: This course is designed to enhance the skills of students and librarians new to science librarianship, especially Mathematics and Computer Science. Primary focus will be on these two disciplines and selected interdisciplinary areas related to these. The half-day course will be taught by three specialist librarians, (Carol Hutchins, John Dupuis, and Travis Warwick) all experienced in the field of science librarianship. Participants will be able to engage in lively discussions and have the opportunity for some hands-on experiences. A brief introduction to the Division's Mentorship Program will also be included.
Course Challenge Level:While some of the topics may fringe on the intermediate, the course will be taught at the Fundamental level.
