Introduction

This Manual is intended to record and disseminate those policies and procedures followed by the PAM division and to provide guidance and reminders to PAM staff. History is included for the information of the Executive Board, especially.

In all cases of conflict, SLA directives and by-laws and the PAM Division Governing Document override these guidelines.

Incoming staff should be alerted to the presence of the Pratices Manual, either by the Chair or the Manual Editor, and may download and print relevant sections. Those staff unable to get a printout from the WWW may request a copy of the relevant section from the Manual Editor.
