This course will enhance the skills of students and librarians new to science librarianship. Team-taught by experienced science librarians, it will cover conducting a reference interview, important print and electronic resources, and strategies for answering questions. The scope includes Physics, Astronomy, Mathematics, Computer Science and General Science. Participants will engage in discussions and some hands-on experiences.

See the center of solar system exploration! The tour includes the multimedia presentation "Welcome to the Planets," as well as visits to the JPL Museum, Space Flight Operations Facility, Micro-Devices Lab, Regional Planetary Image Facility, and JPL Library. Participants will be able to buy box lunches at the JPL Cafeteria. Picture ID is required for access to the facility.
