Nellie Moffett, Chair; Marybeth Dowdell, Chair-Elect; and Carol Jacobson, Past Chair accepted the award on behalf of the 300 plus members of the Military Librarians Division at the SLA 2007 Annual Conference in Denver, CO. The SLA Professional Award recognizes a special event, major achievement, or specific significant contribution to the field of librarianship or information science.
