Distinguished Service Award
This award recognizes a Military Libraries Division member for outstanding and sustained service to MLD.

The MLD Distinguished Service Award was first awarded in December 1999 at the MLD Workshop in Williamsburg, VA. It recognizes a MLD member for outstanding and sustained contributions to MLD. The award consists of a certificate of achievement and/or a presentation gift. Nominees must be members of the Military Libraries Division. Membership eligibility of the nominees will be verified. Nominations must be submitted to:

marybethd@library.nrl.navy.mil Please use the attached on-line form and submit a written statement of contributions, not to exceed 250 words. Consideration will be given to the special nature of the contributions and the benefits realized by the Military Libraries Division.

Awards are presented annually at the Special Libraries Association Annual Conference and/or at the Military Libraries Workshop Business Meeting. Call for nominations will take place some in the Spring of 2008.
