IMPACT Now Blog

IMPACT, the publication of the Leadership & Management Division includes feature articles written by LMD members on management issues and topics of practical interest, bibliographies, Internet resource features, and Division news.

At its meeting in Reno during the Leadership Summit, the board considered the growing challenges associated with "chasing" articles for the IMPACT bulletin and with a fixed quarterly publication schedule. In the context of the 2006 findings that LMD members seek opportunities for professional communication within the division, it was suggested that the publication evolve in several ways, and the board approved this evolution - made possible by Paula Vaccariello, Website Chair, and the Bulletin Committee - Meredith Ritchie, Barbara Whorton, and Corilee Christou:

Contributions to IMPACT can be made at any time, using a blog approach - further giving members the benefit of commenting on the postings. Using the RSS feed, members can be alerted when new content is posted.
