Purpose"Association leadership should strive to not only be representative of its membership, but also reflective of the multi-cultural society we live in" says David R. The Information Technology Division (IT) of SLA encompasses the planning, development and practical application of existing and new technologies and systems for the processing and control of information, in any subject discipline and in any form, for its eventual retrieval and use convenient to the requester. ITE provides the choice of several sections based on a broad spectrum of interest and activities: Blogging, Communications, Digital Content, Information Systems, and Technical Services. The Information Technology Division of SLA also provides the ITE Discussion Group to its members. An excellent source of networking.
