Chris Zammarelli
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (InfoCurrent)

Chris Zammarelli is a cataloger at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. He previously worked as the library assistant at the Brookings Institution, and as a library technician at the National Foreign Affairs Training Center. While a graduate student at the University of Maryland's College of Information Science, he wrote a master's thesis, "Advanced Content In State E-Government: Criteria for Evaluation." Chris previously served as DGI's webmaster and co-chair of the Communications Committee

Sabah Eltareb

Sabah Eltareb just began serving a rotation as Assistant Director for Information Services with the California Research Bureau, the section of the library serving the California Executive, Legislative and other state elected officials and their staff. As Principal Librarian with the California State Library, she heads up the Information Resources & Government Publications Section. She has been with the State Library for the past 10 years in a variety of the library's sections. Sabah has been a juror for the past 7 years for the Notable Documents competition sponsored by the National Conference of State Legislatures' Legislative Reference Librarians.

Eileen Deegan

Past Chair, Jan 2009 – Dec 2009
Eileen Deegan works as an analyst for the U.S. Department of State’s American Corners Program. Previously at the Department, she was an electronic resources librarian, and a reference specialist for the Economic Security Team. In 2005-2006, she co-chaired the Government Information Division’s communications committee, and in 2004, served as DC/SLA’s second vice-president. Prior to that, Eileen co-edited the Washington Area Library Directory 3rd edition, and DC/SLA’s newsletter, Chapter Notes.

Adam Bernacki
Leadership Directories, Inc.

Adam Bernacki has been VP, Sales & Marketing at Leadership Directories, Inc. (LDI) for over two years. Prior to joining LDI, Adam was Leader/AVP, Electronic Licensing at D&B, Product Manager, Online at Elsevier Science, and Marketing Manager at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Between 1996 and 2001, Adam was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Palmer School of Library and Information Science. Adam has worked with government libraries, special librarians, and information technology throughout his nearly twenty year career in the information industry. Adam is an active member of the SLA and SIIA. A consummate educator, he occasionally speaks at library conferences and information industry events.

David Martin

Dave is currently Director of the Pomerantz Business Library at the University of Iowa. He has been a business librarian for 20 years and has worked as a general reference librarian and a catalog librarian. He is currently Chair of the SLA/Iowa chapter. He has been chair of the SLA Technical Standards Committee and is on the SLA 2010 Conference Planning Committee. He lives with his wife Diane in Iowa City. He has two grown sons and four grandchildren all living in California.

Lori Winterfeldt
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

Lori Winterfeldt is Chief of the Library Service for the Manhattan Campus of the New York Harbor Helathcare System, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Previously serving as Head, Collection Development, at Stephen B. Luce Library at State University of New York (SUNY), Maritime College and as program coordinator for the Westchester Graduate Campus of the Palmer School of Library and Information Science of Long Island University, Lori has worked in various library and non-library related positions within the health sciences. Additionally, Lori has served as a member of: ACRL/STS Government Information (2007- 2009); State University of New York Librarians Association (SUNYLA): Delegate and Member of Personnel Policies (2006-2008); 2007 Conference Planning (Library School Liaison; Local Arrangements Committee, Vendors); and as Co-Editor, NY-NJ Medical Library Association Newsletter (2005-2007).

George Franchois
Department of the Interior
Director of Planning, 2 Years, Jan 2008 – Dec 2009
George Franchois is the Coordinator of Library Services for the Department of the Interior Library. In this federal role, he also acts as the Contract Officer's Technical Representative, overseeing the implementation and operation of the Library staffing contract between Lockheed-Martin/Aspen Systems Corporation and the Interior Department. Prior to his current appointment, he worked for Lockheed-Martin/Aspen as the Project Manager for the DOI Library contract from 2002-2006. He has also served at the DOI Library as Deputy Project Manager/Reference Librarian from 2000 to 2002 and as a Library Technician from 1994 to 2000. He also has experience as a Library Technician at the Broadcast Pioneers Library in Washington from 1988 to 1991 and the EPA Headquarters Library from 1991 to 1994.
