Sabah Eltareb
California Research Bureau, California State Library
Chair, Jan 2010 – Dec 2010

Sabah Eltareb is Assistant Director at the California Research Bureau, a division of the California State Library, overseeing Capitol reference services, outreach and training.  She has been with the California State Library for 12 years working with a number of various projects.  Sabah has been a juror for the past 7 years for the Notable Documents competition sponsored by the National Conference of State Legislatures' Legislative Reference Librarians.

Marie Kaddell
LexisNexis
Chair Elect, Jan 2010 – Dec 2010

Marie Kaddell is the Senior Information Professional Consultant at LexisNexis, dedicated to supporting government librarians.  She authors and maintains the Government Info Pro Blog.  She also podcasts on topics of interest to government librarians on the Government Info Pro Podcast.  Marie edits and compiles the annual Best Practices for Government Libraries.  She is a national and local speaker on library topics including social media and government library trends.  She has been an official conference blogger at AALL, ALA, CIL, Internet Librarian, and SLA.  She served the DGI Public Relations Chair and DC/SLA Click U Coordinator in 2009, and is a member of the SLA Learning 2.0 Workgroup.  She previous served as the DGI Membership Chair and as Chief Editor of the DC/SLA Chapter Newsletter, DC/SLA Chapter Notes.

Chris Zammarelli
Library Associates Companies
Past Chair, Jan 2010 – Dec 2010

Chris Zammarelli is a client services manager at Library Associates Companies.  He previously worked as a cataloger at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and as a library assistant at the Brookings Institution.  While a graduate student at the University of Maryland's College of Information Science, he wrote a master's thesis, "Advanced Content In State E-Government: Criteria for Evaluation."  Chris previously served as DGI's webmaster and co-chair of the Communications Committee

Imogene Akins Hutchinson
Leadership Directories, Inc.
Secretary, Jan 2010 – Dec 2010

Imogene Akins Hutchinson is Vice President, Brand Development at Leadership Directories, Inc.  Previously she was Senior Editor at Leadership Directories’ Washington, DC Office, where she oversaw the editing and production of the Congressional, Federal, State, Municipal, Federal Regional, and Judicial Yellow Books.  Since joining Leadership Directories in 1981 as Research Editor of the Federal Yellow Book, she has edited all of LDI’s government books.  In graduate school she was a Ford Foundation Graduate Fellow and a recipient of the Howard University Graduate School Dean’s Scholarship.  She worked at the Smithsonian Institutions’ National Air and Space Museum as Lead Theater Aide while attending graduate school, and held an internship at the Department of Housing and Urban Development.  She has also worked as a Legislative Assistant in Rockwell International’s Government Affairs Office.  Imogene is very involved in community outreach programs, and is a life member of her service sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

David Martin
University Of Iowa, Business Library
Treasurer, Jan 2010 – Dec 2011

Dave is currently Director of the Pomerantz Business Library at the University of Iowa.  He has been a business librarian for 20 years and has worked as a general reference librarian and a catalog librarian.  He is currently Chair of the SLA/Iowa chapter.  He has been chair of the SLA Technical Standards Committee and is on the SLA 2010 Conference Planning Committee.  He lives with his wife Diane in Iowa City.  He has two grown sons and four grandchildren all living in California.

Sharon Lenius
National Guard Bureau
Director of Membership, 1 Year, Jan 2010 – Dec 2010

Sharon Lenius is currently Virtual Information Manager for the J6, National Guard in Arlington, VA.  She has served in that position for two years, having previously managed a special technical document library for an extensive National Guard Information Technology Project.  Sharon also has experience as an Army Librarian and worked for various Public Library Systems.  She has held a number of positions within SLA: Chair and Secretary of the Military Libraries Division, Secretary of the Government Information Division; and has served on various committees of the DC Chapter, most recently as Chair of the Local Arrangements Committee for the Centennial SLA Conference in Washington, DC.  In 2007, Sharon received the SLA Member Achievement Award.

George Franchois
Department of the Interior
Interim Director of Planning, 1 Years, Jan 2010 – Dec 2010

George Franchois is the Coordinator of Library Services for the Department of the Interior Library.  In this federal role, he also acts as the Contract Officer's Technical Representative, overseeing the implementation and operation of the Library staffing contract between Lockheed-Martin/Aspen Systems Corporation and the Interior Department.  Prior to his current appointment, he worked for Lockheed-Martin/Aspen as the Project Manager for the DOI Library contract from 2002-2006.  He has also served at the DOI Library as Deputy Project Manager/Reference Librarian from 2000 to 2002 and as a Library Technician from 1994 to 2000.  He also has experience as a Library Technician at the Broadcast Pioneers Library in Washington from 1988 to 1991 and the EPA Headquarters Library from 1991 to 1994.
