SLA-Sponsored CE Courses
SLA Distance Learning: Click U
Click U (formely known as Virtual Learning Series) is an exclusive member benefit offered free to all SLA members through Click University.
Logging in to Click U: With the implementation of the new AMS system, logging in to Click U will be simplified. Starting on 1 August 2007, you will use your SLA Member ID to log in to both the SLA website and Click University. Your Username in Click U will now be your SLA Member ID and not your PIN. The change of your Username will not affect any records in Click U and it will not affect your Password. It will just make your life simpler.
À la Carte Professional Improvement Libraries
The Professional Improvement Libraries (under Self-Paced Training at Click U) now
offer individually priced courses. Each course from the Leadership & Management, Personal Development, or Organizational & Professional Improvement Libraries is US$12.00 for 30-days access. For only US$8.00 you can access Office Applications courses for 30 days. Click U hopes this will allow you to tailor your individual professional development needs more effectively. You are still able to enjoy 6-month and 1-year subscriptions and have access to complete course libraries if that suites your needs better.
Annual Conference CE Courses
SLA sponsors many courses at the Annual Conferences to meet one to three competencies from SLA's Competencies for Special Librarians of the 21st Century.
