Slate of Officers for 2009
Your B&F Nominating Committee has completed its deliberations, and we are pleased to announce the slate of officers for the 2009 Division Executive Board. According to SLA recommended practices, you the Members have 45 days to make further nominations if desired. They may be sent to my attention: toby.pearlstein@comcast.net
Please include a bio and photo, and a statement from the nominee indicating his/her desire to serve. In this event of further nominations, you will receive an electronic ballot in October.
Should there be no further nominations, the slate will be declared elected by acclamation.
In either scenario, the election results will be announced on the Discussion List and on our Website no later than early November. They will take office in January 2009, and attend the Board Meeting at the SLA Leadership Summit in Savannah, GA.
As always, the Division welcomes volunteers to work with the Executive Board and Advisory Board on various projects and committees. If you would like to get involved, please contact a member of the Board of Directors or any of the folks below. Names and contact information of the current Board can be found in the About Us section.

The Board would like to ensure that the all of the hard work over an extended period on creating this site is recognized - we are extremely grateful to outgoing Webmaster Brent Nunn.
B&F has so much to celebrate currently - we're moving forward strongly from a highly successful Conference and programming at full steam for the Association's Centenary Conference. The Division is in excellent shape for our own second half century!
