Welcome from the B&F Chair

Welcome to the website of the Business & Finance Division of SLA. I am honored to be serving as the chair of the B&F Division during this special SLA Centennial year.

One of the most exciting things for me is that the 2009 conference will be in my hometown — Washington, DC. Our Division will be providing a robust line-up of educational sessions, networking opportunities, parties, and combinations of same — 31 in all! Your Executive Board and Advisory Board are hoping to see many of you there. It's the place to be to keep your skills and contacts current!

The B&F Division has so many great activities going this year. Laura Leavitt and Tomalee Doan have some great ideas for our revived mentoring initiative. Please consider signing up to be a mentor or to request a mentor.
