SLA's  Community of Practice  is a way for division members to share ideas and division-related documents.

HOW TO JOIN THE DAM COP

1. Go to the Log-In page: http://cop.sla.org/COP/ .

2. Log in using your last name and SLA PIN.

3. You will see My Profile. 

4. Edit your profile as needed, then Update.

5. Click the top right button that says Personal Home.

6. Click on Join/Visit Communities at the top of your Personal Page.

7. Search for our community (i.e. Division of Advertising & Marketing) and then click Join Communities at bottom of page.

You should also turn on your Email Notifications.  This will alert you when something new has been added.

1. Log in as before, and go to your Personal Home.

2. Click on the mailbox icon called Messaging at the top of the page. This opens your mailbox.

3.  In your mailbox, click on the tab called Mail Preferences at the top.

4.  Answer YES to the first question: "Would you like to receive a notification to your external e-mail account when a new message is received in your Communities of Practice account?"

5. Click Update at the bottom of the page.
