Editorialby Susannah Tredwell, Bulletin Editor Welcome to volume 6, no. 2 of Wired West. Amazingly enough, it's already 2003. If one of your resolutions this year is to get more involved with a community or professional organization, I hope you'll consider contributing something to Wired West. Everyone benefits when we share information, common experiences, or know-how. When I was in library school, it was greatly emphasized that we were colleagues, not competitors, and I've certainly benefited from the willingness of other librarians to freely share their knowledge and expertise with me. (And I really hope vice versa.) On that note, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Patricia Cia, past president and (more importantly) an amazing resource. She's been an enormous help in so many ways: she's sent me links to articles and web sites of interest, she's taken the time to answer all my questions, no matter how large or small, and she's been an absolute pleasure to work with. As ever, I hope you enjoy this issue; you can send any comments, ideas, or suggestions to me at stredwell@lawsonlundell.com.
