Wired West: Volume 11, no. 4
President's Report
By Susan McConkey
The Wired West Newsletter summer issue is traditionally dedicated
to our annual conference held each year in June. Some of our members
will be telling you about their experiences in Seattle- the value
of some sessions, the tradeshow and the overall conference experience.
I thought that I would share with you some new SLA initiatives
as well as WCC board activities and future events.

23 new things - it's up to you! You can sign up on the web site
at any time but this program does have an end date -Sept. 15, 2008.

Visit SLA Innovation Laboratory!
SLA has set up an Innovation Laboratory, with appropriately perhaps,
a rat on the web site. On this web site, you can discover new tools.
"Innovation Laboratory is populated with SLA-licensed software
and open-source applications." The 23 Things program
is here along with access to atomic learning videos, free and fee
technologies, Second Life Island, access to newsfeeds, technology
links and so much more.
This Lab will adapt to changing times and add new technologies
and resources whenever possible.
