By Linda Yan
Fellow Librarians, Librarian Technicians and Assistants:
Join us on Sunday, October 5th, 2008 as a walking or running member
of
the 5th Annual Librarians Run for the Cure Team. This is part of
the CIBC Run for the Cure event by the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Last year 215 Librarians Run for the Cure team members participated
in
the event from 19 different Run Sites across Canada. We've raised
$71,780 over past four years as a national team. Let's aim to top
$100,000 in overall fund-raising this year to celebrate our 5th
year
of participation!
Online registration is now open. When registering, you will be
prompted to select an existing team to join, search: "Librarians
Run
for the Cure".
https://www.cibcrunforthecure.com/html/registration_start.asp
The registration fee is waived for adults who raise $150 or more
and
youth (under 18) who raise $60 or more (t-shirt included).
Participation is free for youth (under 18) who do not raise $60
or pay
the registration fee up front. They will not receive a t-shirt.
We
welcome families and friends to join our team.
