You've got clipping services
to monitor your company in the mainstream media, but what are THEY
saying about you OUT THERE on the Internet? Did you know that bloggers
are knocking your company or CEO, and that thousands of people may read
that blog? Or maybe they're praising your latest product or policy. Do
you know? Shouldn't you?
Learn how to use RSS to constantly monitor the online reputation of
your company, personnel, products, competition or even yourself. In
this noon-hour session you'll be briefly introduced to the concept of
RSS before being taken on a tour of free sites that will allow you to
monitor a search string with *absolutely no effort* on your part.
Handouts will be provided, and participants will leave being able to
set up a fairly sophisticated online reputation monitoring system.
