Debbie Schachter
Debbie is the Director, Technology and Collection Management at the Vancouver Public Library. She has 18 years of experience working in a variety of special
libraries, non-profit organizations, and now, the public library setting.
Debbie writes a monthly column in SLA's Information Outlook magazine on the
topic of business and management. Debbie holds a B.A. University of British
Columbia; M.L.S. University of British Columbia; Certificate of Technical
Writing, Simon Fraser University; and M.B.A. Simon Fraser University.
