Susan McConkey
Susan McConkey is the Business and Economics Librarian
at the University of Saskatchewan. As the business librarian, she is
the administrator and instructor of two compulsory business research
non-credit workshop courses that all undergraduate business
students enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce program must successfully
complete. Additionally, she is responsible for economics and business
collections.
Susan obtained her BA from Mount Allison and her MLS from McGill
University and has over 20 years of experience. She has been a member
of SLA since 1999.
In addition to SLA, she is a member of the Canadian
Library Association, and American
Library Association division: Association
of College and Research Libraries (ACRL). If possible, she tries to
attend the SLA Annual Conference and biennial ACRL Conference. Other
conferences recently attended: Collection Development, Charleston SC
2005; CAUTLIB Conference Vancouver, 2007 and Coppul ACCOLEDS - Public
Services Sessions Saskatoon, 2005.
