Winnipeg, 2003.
Janice has been Chief Librarian of the Lewis Library of
Aerospace Warfare since March 1996. Lewis Library serves the business
and research needs of 17 Wing Winnipeg which is comprised of two Air
Force squadrons and six schools. The Library’s primary users are the
instructors and course members of the Canadian Forces School of
Aerospace Studies (CFSAS) which provides advanced aerospace technical
education and officer professional development education for Air Force
officers.

Janice is a member of the local Defence Aboriginal

employees.

Position Description
This is an elected position; two-year term. The Western
Canada Chapter has six directors, each serving a different region: BC
(Vancouver), BC (Vancouver Island). Alberta (Calgary), Alberta
(Edmonton), Manitoba, Saskatchewan.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves on the Chapter Board
- Attends all Board meetings in person or by
teleconference
- Organizes local programmes with the help of a
programmes committee
- Serves as a local contact person for new or
prospective members in their region
- Reports on programmes in the Chapter's publications
- Submits Director's annual report to the Chapter's
Annual General Meeting
