Development Director
Charles Hogg
Charles Hogg is the Manager of Systems at the Legislative Library of British Columbia. He completed a BA in Political Science at UNBC in 1999 and his MLIS at UBC in 2001. After completing his MLIS, he was hired as the Systems Librarian at UNBC. In 2005, he was hired as a Reference Librarian at the Legislative Library of BC, where he his now the Manager of Systems. Charles has also pursued a variety of professional development opportunities including the Northern Exposure to Leadership and ARL Library Management Skills Workshops. He has served on the executive of several organisations, including BCLA, and is a frequent volunteer.

Position Description
- The Director coordinates fund raising activities in
support of the Chapter's professional development initiatives as
defined in the Strategic Plan.
- The Director will develop a fund raising strategy in
response to the Chapter's fund raising needs, and will present this
plan to the Chapter Board for input and approval.
- The Director will obtain sponsorship for Chapter
programmes, publications and other member-oriented initiatives.
