Leadership: Director - Alberta -
Calgary
Pat Sandercock
Pat Sandercock is the Regional Sales Manager for Swets, and while based
in Calgary, Pat meets with Academic and Special Librarians in Canada's
four Western Provinces, as well as Alaska, Oregon and Washington State.
(She's reluctantly learning to love her BlackBerry....) As a Librarian
with an alternate career, she reconciles her work as being one part
collections librarian, one part financial manger, one part library
consultant, one part reference librarian and one part 'really good
listener!' Before going 'to the Dark Side' in late 1999, Pat held
various positions in government and oil-patch libraries in Calgary. Pat
loves speaking to students about alternate career choices and really
enjoys doing training sessions with her clients. When not waiting for
her luggage at various baggage carousels across North America, she
enjoys gardening, quilting and her Beagle, Daisy.
Pat Sandercock MLS (U Alberta, 1986), B.Ed ( U Sask., 1984), B Sc (U
