Hotel Information:

The conference hotel is the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is a beautiful and historic landmark in downtown Vancouver surrounded by the majestic North Coast Mountains. The hotel offers a complete fitness facility, spa, and dining options. Within a few minutes' walk from the hotel is Robson Square for superb shopping and dining options, the stunning Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Gardens, and the Vancouver Art Gallery as well as many other features of our oceanfront city.

Conference rate: $189 CAN for Fairmont Room (not including taxes) based on single or double occupancy.

The conference rate is available on the nights of Thursday, October 5 and Friday, October 6.

Depending on availability, the conference rate can be extended for up to two days prior and two days following the official conference dates. Delegates must register using the promotional codes (note: phone and web reservations are different).

There are a number of ways to proceed with hotel reservation for the conference:

a) Reserving by phone: Delegates should call 1.800.441.1414 (Fairmont's global reservations centre number) and state that they are with Special Libraries Association 2006 Regional Conference

b) Reserving online: Go to www.fairmont.com and click into "Reservations". When making reservation, enter the following code under PROMO CODE: GRLIB1
