SLA Vancouver Winter Holiday party

Get out your jingle bells!
The SLA Vancouver Winter Holiday party takes place Thursday, December 6 at
the Terminal City Club.
In addition to cocktails and a canape buffet, we are also pleased to
present "Clutter, Chaos, and Christmas" with work/life balance and
decluttering expert, Paul Talbot.
We'll also be collecting gifts (for moms and kids) and cash for Kate Booth
House, a Salvation Army women's shelter (tax receipts will be issued for
donations by cheque).

PROGRAM
- 4:30 pm: Registration
No-host bar opens Canape buffet opens
- 5:30 pm: "Clutter, Chaos, and Christmas" (presentation)
- 6:30 pm: Mingling, networking, nibbling and noshing
- 7:30 pm: Wrap-up
PRESENTATION
Author, trainer and simplicity coach Paul Talbot will present a
made-for-SLA program, "Clutter, Chaos, and Christmas". Topics will include:
- Strategies for balancing work and life during the holidays
- Ideas for decluttering and organizing
- Tips for setting goals for a fresh new year
Paul Talbot is an energetic and charismatic speaker, trainer and
consultant. His popular workshops focus on strategies for simplifying,
decluttering, and achieving balance in everyday life. For more information,

Fees:
* $29 for SLA members, students and unemployed
* $35 for non-members
Payment by cheque, payable to "Special Libraries Association - Western
Canada Chapter" and mailed to Deb Hutchison, Virtual Library, 350 West
Georgia Street, Vancouver BC, V6B 6B1.
VENUE
The Terminal City Club is located at 837 Hastings Street. We'll be in the
Presidents Room, on the second floor.
(Note that there is a dress-casual dress code - please, no jeans.)
