Introducing SLA WCC 2010 Board

The SLA WCC Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday November 25th. At that meeting, Frances Main assumed the position of President from Debbie Schachter, who remains on the Board as Past President. The new slate of other board members for 2010 was also announced. Their names and contact information is available on the Leadership page.

2009 SLA WCC Award Recipients

Congratulations to Barbara Holder, the 2009 Outstanding Information Professional Award recipient.
Congratulations also to Adrianne Baker, Michael Grutchfield, and Michelle Papineau-Couture, three library students who have received a one-year SLA membership.

Board Meetings

The next Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 10th at 8:30 a.m. PST (9:30 a.m. MST, 10:30 AM CST) at the Department of Justice, Suite 900 – 840 Howe Street. Board meetings are open to SLA members; if you would like to attend please contact your local director or Frances Main, SLA WCC President.
