Message from the President

Welcome to the Upstate New York Chapter of the Special Libraries Association Web site! The Chapter provides a forum for information professionals in the Upstate New York region (encompasses all of New York State with the exception of Long Island, the Hudson Valley and New York City) to meet others, to learn, to network and expand horizons, and to help each other develop skills for putting knowledge to work.

The Chapter runs an active email discussion list, publishes a newsletter three times a year, and holds meetings, programs and networking events throughout the year. We reach out to students through scholarships and recognition awards.
