Directory of Special Libraries in the Toronto Area

The Directory of Special Libraries in the Toronto Area has gone digital. After 14 glorious print editions, we've made the move to a web based directory which will eliminate production costs and allow for easier and more frequent updating! Read more about the Directory in the September/October, 1998 issue of The Courier.

You have two choices for searching:

  1. A search form with a Java based "Word Wheel" for browsing of indexes.
  2. Or, if you have a non-java enabled browser, you can search the java-free form.

Corrections and Additions:

Additions to the Directory can be submitted via form input.

Corrections can be made online. Bring up the full record for your library, and then using the pulldown menu at the top of the page, select "Revise Record " (for substantial changes), or "Submit Minor Changes" (if you just wish to correct a few items) and then click on the "Change Form" button. A fill in form, populated with the current data for your library will appear. Edit this form accordingly, and then click the "Submit Corrections" button.

Submitting Corrections

Although additions and corrections can be submitted online, verification is required. Please ensure that you include your name and telephone number when submitting the electronic forms, so that you can be contacted.

SLA Toronto Chapter would like to thank the generous support of Andornot Consulting, for hosting the directory database.
