Partner with SLA Toronto

SLA is the world's premier association for innovative information professionals and their strategic partners. SLA serves more than 11,000 members in 75 countries in the information profession, including corporate, academic and government information specialists.

SLA Toronto currently serves more than 450 members in the Greater Toronto Area, Kitchener-Waterloo, and London. Our members work for organizations in banking, insurance, health care, information technology, advertising, marketing, education, engineering, law, journalism, and more.

SLA Toronto strengthens its members by providing learning and networking opportunities. These opportunities include:

  • Guest speakers, roundtables, panel discussions, and networking events;
  • Web-based, collaborative seminars; and
  • Discussion forums and publications.

Platinum $4,000.00 for the year (January through December)

Silver $1,500.00 for the year (January through December)

  • Exclusive sponsorship of two virtual seminars
  • Provide product literature to event attendees
  • One advertorial in “Vendor's Corner” a regularly featured article in The Courier, the Chapter’s newsletter

Bronze $500.00 for the year (January through December)

  • Exclusive sponsorship of one virtual seminar
  • Provide product literature to event attendees

Student-to-Conference Awards $2000.00

  • Exclusive sponsorship of two students to attend SLA’s Annual Conference
  • Award re-branded to include your organization’s name in recognition of your contribution

Banners

  • Banner ads are available for purchase to be displayed on The Courier page and will also be distributed by RSS feed.
  • Banner ads are $250 per quarter (in 3, 6, 9, or 12 month increments)
  • View the current edition of The Courier to see a sample page

Terms and Conditions

  • Advertisers must confirm in writing their intent to advertise
  • Payment is due upon receipt of invoice and all payments should be made in Canadian funds
  • Ads will be posted on the first of the month, following receipt of payment
  • Banner ads for The Courier are not tied to the publication of the newsletter, as it is seasonal. The time frame outlined on the invoice will be in 3, 6 9 or 12 month increments.

  • Banners: 468x60 exact, animation allowed, 256 colours
  • File formats: GIF or JPEG
