This issue of the Courier includes articles on the theme of new beginnings – new careers, new images, new people.

I hope that some of you will have the opportunity to attend some of our programs in the next few weeks. On February 2^nd, we will be presenting Information Architecture: Best Practices for Structuring Your Intranet featuring Chris Farnum, Information Architect, Argus Associates as part of an SLA Toronto Chapter event developed in conjunction with the OLA SuperConference. On April 12^th, 2001, there will be a lunch and learn session on Salary Negotiations. Our Annual General Meeting will be held on May 17^th, 2001 – our speaker this year will be Linda Sims, business reporter for CTV’s Canada AM and CTV NewsNet.
