Gala Centennial Dinner
SLA is 100 years young! Come and enjoy music, fine company and sparkling conversation as we celebrate SLA's Centennial. The chapter is holding a Gala Centennial Dinner in the Music Room at Hart House to honour this important milestone. We hope you will join us for what promises to be the most exciting event of the year!
Please note: This special event is NOT FREE to students (cost for students is $35.00) and the member rate ($45.00) is extended to the chapter's Past-Presidents.
Registration will remain open during the week-end of May 9-10th. The maximum number of registrants spaces available is 75. Notification will be sent to the email address you used to register if we are unable to accommodate you.

About our guest speaker:
"ZA MOR YOU WANT, ZA MOR YOU GET, VOTE ZAMORA" - that's how Gloria Zamora signed off her 2007 SLA President-Elect candidate speech and, in this exciting year, ZA MOR WE NEED!
Gloria Zamora has been active in the SLA for three decades and was named a fellow of SLA in 1999 and received the John Cotton Dana Award in 2007.
Gloria has over 30 years experience in the information industry as a Government Affairs manager at Sandia National Laboratories and served as a Congressional Fellow and Field Representative.
She has an undergraduate degree in history and political science and a Master's in Library Science, both from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Gloria and her husband Bob live in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Students are required to pay for this event.
Registration Details:
The SLA Toronto Chapter requires payment with
registration. Payment can be made via PayPal or
by cheque. To register, please submit your registration
form electronically via the website (payment can
be made electronically via PayPal) or in paper
with cheque payment. Note: once you have registered
and you wish to change your payment method, contact
the registrar directly.
In the case of students, please ensure that you have registered (no payment required) and if you find you can no longer attend the event, please use the cancellation form below to notify the registrar.
Payment must be received by the registration date. No payment will be accepted at the door on the day of the event.

Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your registration, you must do so via the cancellation
form no later than May 10, 2009.
Refunds
To receive a refund, the cancellation form must be submitted and received prior to May 10, 2009. The amount of the refund will be the registration fee that was paid, less 10% to cover the Chapter’s administrative costs. Unfortunately, no refunds can be given after that date.
