Vicki Whitmell is the Executive Director of the Ontario Legislative Library and an adjunct faculty member at the University Of Toronto Faculty Of Information Studies. A former law librarian, academic librarian and Executive Director of the Canadian Library Association, she has a strong interest in leadership within the library profession. She is the founder of the Library Leaders Institute and the editor of Staff Planning in a Time of Demographic Change, published by Scarecrow Press in 2005.
