Design a New Chapter Logo!

The Board is looking to enhance and update the current chapter logo.  The current logo has two manifestations, one for print and one for the web.  We are looking for chapter members who would be interested in drafting an updated logo, which would then be voted on by the membership.

The winning draft will be finalized and placed on all chapter communications (website, brochures, etc.). The new logo will be used in both print and digital communications.

Logo specifications:

Size:

The logo will be re-sized depending upon purpose (web, paper communications, banner, etc.) The specifications below are the size for the logo on the website, and this ratio should be used as a guideline in design:

width: 1.25”
height: 2.25”

Colors:

The logo must look good in both color and black and white. The designer’s choice of color is open; however, a logo that compliments the current colors on the chapter website would be ideal. The colors can be changed on the website to match the new logo, if needed. The hexadecimal color for the current navigation bar is #28285A (R=40, G=40, B=90).

Must incorporate:

St. Louis Arch (in keeping with an updated look of the current logo which includes the arch).

The current logos are shown below:

The left logo is used in print communications, and the right logo was used on the previous website.
