Welcome to the Sierra Nevada Chapter
of the Special Libraries Association!

While our territory of northeastern California and all of northern Nevada is large, our chapter is small in number but quite active. We usually have at least four dinner meetings, a workshop, and other special events. Non-members are always welcome!

The membership of the Chapter shall be those members of the Association who reside or work within the geographic boundaries of the Chapter,  defined as the Counties of Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Shasta, Sierra, Sutter, Tehama, Yolo, and Yuba in the state of California, and the counties of Carson City, Churchill, Douglas, Elko, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander, Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, Storey, Washoe, and White Pine in the State of Nevada, or who elect to affiliate with the Chapter.
