Getting the Job Done in a Down Economy Handouts from Saturday's workshop:
LOCATION: Economics professor Alan Gin will start the morning with his perspective on how the economy failed and what we can expect financially in the future, nationally and locally. Professor Gin is best known for developing and publishing the University of San Diego’s Index of Leading Economic Indicators for San Diego County, a monthly report on the outlook for the local economy. A panel discussion will follow on the topic of budget cuts in the library world and how librarians at various institutions, including legal, business and academic, are coping. Breakfast & Lunch Included. |
