DNA Direct is the industry leader that provides Guidance and Decision Support for
Genomic Medicine to payors, medical centers, labs and consumers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide research and reference help to DNA Direct’s genetic counselor, medical and business staff in a courteous and effective
manner
- Conduct research, and train other staff on research, using computerized searching of the medical literature, associated databases, and Internet.
Identify appropriate resources and coordinate/negotiate access as needed
- Organize, maintain, catalog and update research as required into DNA Direct’s content management system
- Design and implement IT and content management systems for the research collection, its management, and access
- Develop content as needed for the DNA Direct intranet directing staff on how to access, navigate, and use company’s
research collection
- Develop policies and procedures to evaluate, acquire, discard, process, organize, and maintain the research collection. Assist with design
of a classification scheme for DNA Direct’s research collection
- Apply and enforce copyright rules for novel content
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree with major in Library Science
- Minimum 2 years experience with medical staff in health science setting
- Experience with Genomics and related sciences a plus
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
