I paid for presentation, then other committments got in the way of me attending.

Later times work better for me since I get off of work between 5:30-6.

I had actually signed up for the program, but a 'fire drill' type of research project came up at work so I wasn't able to leave for the meeting. The topic sounded great and the location was just fine, so I am sorely disappointed I missed it.

Had a board meeting conflict.

out of town. Sounded like a very interesting topic.

My evenings are committed to teaching classses (MW) & family.

Thank you for all the fine teamwork that went into this. Great to have the creative and the 'monetizing' side presented. The speakers were very well prepared and engaging. The tech worked very smoothly. Bravo to Richard and the Chronicle.

What was not to like? Easily reached venue, interesting speakers, good company, good food.

Excellent meeting: place was convenient, speakers were better than I expected...and food was great and plentiful. And I have sandwiches today from leftovers. Really a good effort all the way around. thanks to all who made it happen.

I prefer half day morning programs - & or all day programs. Downtown SF is very convenient. Thanks for asking. I would rather spend a lot of money for a good program rather than a little for one that is not worth..; also I do not like dinner meetings nor I am not interested in networking. Thanks for asking

The program was very interesting but I didn't like the room we were in. It was difficult to see both the speakers and the screens. And the ceiling was oppressively low. Also, there should have been more time for questions. The food was excellent. I missed access to wine but then, the beverages offered were very nice. In the future PLEASE ask the speakers to repeat the questions asked of them before they answer.

Topic was very interesting and presenters were good. Would have enjoyed more Q&A time but understand time constraints. I was pleasently surprised at amount of food.

Great food.. Missed the wine, poor circulation during cocktail/dinner hour (separate area (cafeteria?) would have been better. Wonderful program, good use of visuals: good to have dual projection areas for viewing the presentations, good speakers. thanks.

Excellent program. I wish that we had more time to get into 'monetization' the dollars and cents of the newspaper business, and how the e-commerce end of it might be expected to help the revenues of the paper.

The presentions were fascinating and I learned a great deal about sfgate.com, which I'm a big fan of. The screen was in an odd place, but otherwise, it was a wonderful, informative event!

I thought the topic was very interesting and informative and the food selection was great.

The caterer was outstanding and there was plenty of time to talk to colleagues. It was much easier than a regular dinner meeting. The topic was fascinating and having the graphics on both walls, it was easier to see from all directions. Thank you for such a well planned event!

It was particularly nice to have the joint event with so many people attending.

I'm really glad I went. I liked the casual feel of the event. Subject was both interesting and relevant, and speakers were both excellent.

Slightly disappointed. I was hoping to hear also about either 1) the effect on the librarians' role based on the changes, or 2) more about how it is done, perhaps with a live demo.

Fabulous. Speakers were both engaging. Topic was very interesting. I could have sat through another hour. The food for a 'reception' was plentiful, tasty, and a good selection. This is one of the best programs/venues we've had. Great job.

I thought this was an especially good program--the topic was current and the speakers were really good--and I liked the format. Earlier program, good food, affordable. Great job by the program committee!

It was thought-provoking and well-done. Great food and overall organization of the evening. Congratulations to Program and Hospitality on another top-notch event. I wish we had more time for the both of the speakers and Q&A, however, I appreciated the early start and adjournment times.

I learned a lot from this event. I also liked the buffet format with LOTS of great food and drink. I also appreciate the raffle. A good time was had by all!!

The presenters were great. I really appreciated that they were good speakers and that their presentation and visuals were exceptional. It was also great that they were not afraid to engage in dialog with us curious librarians.

Great speakers - really knew their stuff and were very positive about the opportunities for newspapers in the current environment. Both had a good sense of humor as well. Good hosting job by the local committee and the Chronicle. Thx!!

Very interesting and topical. Both speakers gave(or demo'd) enough detail to make me interested to find out more. Food was excellent! as well.

Very interesting topic that was very well handled by both speakers. i learned a lot, especially about podcasting and trends in news and information that are become more widespread and significant. The location was terrific, right near a BART station and, to my great shame, I must admit that the food was just great. I wasn't able to get there until about 6:10 and there was still plenty of wonderful food and time for me to satisfy me inner needs so that I could provide full attention to the speakers rather than to a rumbling stomach. This was a very successful meeting and I thank you.

Please continue to explore new technologies like this - was really sorry I missed it!

The topic was very relevant to issues I face daily as a news librarian.

Great venue, wonderful speakers, and fabulous food for much less than we pay at restaurants. It was easy to get to from anywhere in the Bay Area. Thanks to our host, Richard, and the Program and Hospitality committees for making this learning experience fun and informative.

I liked the linking of new technology library promotion, providing new tools to reach library users who might not otherwise think of libraries as relevant to their work lives.

Would love to see SLA meetings as podcasts. Thanks.
