Congratulations, Cris!
Cris Campbell, Chief of the Public Health Library, is the recipient of the San Francisco Bay Region Chapter's 1999-2000 Outstanding Chapter Achievement Award to be presented at the September 14th dinner meeting. This award is given in recognition of her ongoing significant contributions to the chapter.
During her many years of membership, she has served in numerous capacities; Chapter President, Bulletin editor, Strategic Planning Chair (3 times), Jobline Chair, Nominating Chair, and more. She has worked on numerous committees including Hospitality. At the Association level Cris served a term as chair of the Environment and Resource Management Division.
While President, she initiated several Chapter firsts- first summer meeting to aid in chapter planning, first dinner cruise, and first author luncheon. She is generous with her time in the mentoring of other chapter members and currently she is serving as the Strategic Planning Chair, shepherding the Chapter through the development of a new 5 year plan.
