Colleague Connection 2003
hosted by the University of Denver Library Information Science Program Tuesday, April 22 Featuring As librarians, we face an unprecedented array of challenges. These include massive funding cuts, the continuing impact and implications of new technologies and vast societal changes in our communities, country and world. And for the first time, libraries are at the center - not the sidelines - of struggles over copyright, censorship and first ammendment rights. How will these developments affect the historic missions and roles of academic, public, school and special libraries? What does the future hold for our libraries and for us as librarians? Most importantly, what can we do to help ensure that tomorrow's libraries are stronger and more vibrant than ever? Vendor Displays: 5:00-6:30 PM REGISTRATION CLOSED
