From El Paso exit I25 at University Ave. Go west on University to N. Main--turn right onto Main--go to Picacho Ave., turn left, then right onto N. Alameda

I25 north to Santa Fe; take US 84/285 north to Pojoaque, then turn west on NM 502. Take the White Rock exit--NM 4. At the light turn right onto East Jemez Rd. Continue on this road straight through the first stoplight. To your right will be the fire station and to your left will be several buildings of the laboratory. Turning left you will pass the cafeteria, the visitor center and the Oppenheimer Study Center where the Research Library is located. Parking on either side of the road.

Coming from I-40: take the Rio Grande Blvd exit and turn north on Rio Grande Blvd. Drive about 2 miles. You will cross Indian School (traffic light) and Mathew Blvd (traffic light). Camino de los Artesanos is the *last* street on the right *before* you get to Candelaria. And, don't be fooled by the street before mine (it's called Artesanos Court).
If you are coming West on Candelaria, just keep going until you get to Rio Grande Blvd. Turn left, then left again immediately on the first street you come to. Number 2320 is the corner house (SW corner of the intersection of Camino de los Artesanos and Rio Grande Blvd).

How to make shortbread session

5 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 lb butter
a paper sack to line pan
jelly roll pan (a cookie sheet with sides) about 8X11

The Devonshire Adobe Inn is located at 4801 All Saints Rd. in Albuquerque. Going west on Paseo del Norte turn left onto Eagle Ranch, then left again onto All Saints-the Inn is at the end of the cul-de-sac. Going east on Paseo del Norte, turn right onto Eagle Ranch, then left onto All Saints Rd. The Inn is basically at the southwest corner of Paseo del Norte and Coors Blvd. (visible from Coors Blvd.) so it is a quick turn-turn. The telephone number of the Inn, should you go astray, is 898-3366.
