The New Jersey Library Network: Implications for Special Libraries

The New Jersey Library Network is funded by the State of New Jersey to help all types of libraries better serve their patrons. The Network consists of the State Library and four Regional Library Cooperatives. Services include interlibrary loan, backup reference, discounts for databases (some free!), computer training, and other continuing education. It costs nothing to join and you have so much to gain. State Librarian Norma Blake and CJRLC Exec. Director Connie Paul will talk about current programs including the 24x7 Library, QandAnj Live Reference Project, Recruiting and Leadership.

    Directions to the Ramada Inn, 195 Route 18 South, East Brunswick:

    From the New Jersey Turnpike (North or South)

    Take Exit 9, after toll booth bear left to Route 18 South. The Ramada Inn & Conference Center at East Brunswick will be 1/4 mile on your right.

    From U.S. Route 1 (North or South)

    Exit at Route 18 South. The Ramada Inn & Conference Center at East Brunswick will be 1/2 mile on your right.

    From I-287 (South)

    Take Exit 9 (River Road), follow signs to Route 18 South. The Ramada Inn & Conference Center at East Brunswick will be 5 miles on your right side.

    From the Garden State Parkway

    Take Exit 129, which will be the New Jersey Turnpike. Turnpike to Exit 9. After toll booth, bear left to Route 18 South. The Ramada Inn & Conference Center at East Brunswick will be 1/4 mile on your right.

    From Route 18 North

    Exit at Eggers/Kennedy Blvd., make your first 2 left turns. The Ramada Inn & Conference Center at East Brunswick will be on your left. (Entrance to rear parking lot.)
