What is a library portal? Why should you build one and how do you do it? How do you measure your portal's ROI (return-on-investment) so that you can prove its value in your organization? Join us at the NJSLA Fall dinner meeting to find out the answers to these questions and more.

FEATURED SPEAKERS

Barbara Burton, Factiva InfoPro Alliance Manager, is responsible for building the content of a wide range or resources for Factiva's InfoPro resource portal (www.factiva.com/infopro). She will speak about the creation of a library portal.

Jane DeHaven, Core Strategist in the Office of the Director of Lucent Technologies Integrated Information Solutions unit, has experience in building Lucent's library portal. She will address the issue of ROI for library portals.

FROM THE NORTH:
Take I-80 to I-287 South (Exit Somerville-Morristown.) Follow I-287 South to the Exit 26 (Mt. Airy Road). Make a left at the end of the ramp onto Mt. Airy Road. Make a left at the fourth light and hotel will be on the left.

FROM THE SOUTH (VIA GARDEN STATE PARKWAY):
Take the Garden State Parkway North to I-287 North. Follow I-287 North to I-78 East. Follow I-78 East to Exit 33 (Bernardsville-Martinsville.) Make a left at the end of ramp and at the third light make a right and the hotel will be on the left.

FROM THE SOUTH (VIA NJ TURNPIKE):
Take the NJ Turnpike North to Exit 10 and get on I-287 North. Follow I-287 North to I-78 East. Follow I-78 East to Exit 33 (Bernardsville-Martinsville.) At the end of the ramp make a left and then make a right at the third light and hotel will be on the left.
