LIBRARIES FOR THE 21ST CENTURY PRINCETON UNIVERSITY TOUR AND DINNER, March 21, 2002

Tour two of Princeton University's newest libraries. The Engineering Library, designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, incorporates angles and light to create a feeling of openness and fresh air and is the centerpiece of the new Friend Center for Engineering Education. The Donald E. Stokes Library for Public & International Affairs and Population Research, designed by the award winning firm of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, is the light-filled focal point of the new Wallace Hall. Following the tours enjoy dinner at Palmer House, the university's charming 19th century guesthouse and the former home of Richard Stockton.
