Katherine Foster

Katherine Foster received her MLS from the University of North Texas in 1991. Her specialization is in legal research. Her first position was with a small tax/estate planning firm in Dallas. She moved to Seattle in 1995 and was hired as a catalog/reference librarian at the law firm of Preston Gates and Ellis LLP. In October 2000 she left Preston for the corporate setting and is currently the Legal Reference Librarian for the Law and Corporate Affairs Department with Microsoft. She has served as President of the Law Librarians of Puget Sound and is currently the President-Elect for the PNW chapter of SLA.

Gary Norris

Librarian/Archivist

I have 28 years of legal and archival experience in and around law, most specifically intellectual property, as well as a background in popular music history. Over the past 15 years I have been the sole librarian at Christensen O'Connor Johnson Kindness, gathering and disseminating intellectual property material to those attorneys and clients who need it, and to this day have yet to understand just what it is. I am also the world's only living Randy Newman (singer/songwriter/composer) Archivist, a title I hold on to for dear life.

Julie Martin

Lead Taxonomist
Boeing Library & Learning Center Services

I have worked for Boeing for eight years on a number of projects related to taxonomy and metadata schemas, digital library development, information filtering, and virtual reference services. I received my MLS in 1995 from the University of Washington.

Colette Napoli

I have been a Dialog employee since 1996 as a trainer in New York and now working as an Account Manager in the Pacific Northwest based here in Seattle. Previously, I worked as a paralegal in major NYC law firms. I received a B.A. in Criminology and earned an ABA certified Paralegal certificate.
