Collection PolicyThe emphasis most recently has been on acquiring either by purchase or by gifts, materials produced by SLA or other professional associations since our local public or academic libraries do not often acquire these titles. Donations of materials as well as suggestions on future purchases are encouraged from our members.Circulation PolicyMaterials circulate to current members of the PNW Chapter and starting April 1, 2000 to current members of LLOPS (Law Librarians of Puget Sound). SLA non-chapter members anywhere may request materials but, in cases of duplicate requests, will receive lower priority. Materials circulate for ONE MONTH. Renewals for an additional one-month are permitted if there is no demand for the item.Shipping & Postage CostsThe PNW Chapter pays for shipping at book rate for one-way only.
